Due to a long running and unhealthy obsession with the Miracle of the Andes story, and realising not one community was based on this subject, I decided it was my duty as an "Obsessive Compulsive" (As my boyfriend put it) to make this community.

Not alot of people on this website know of the ordeal these people went through, and im quite sure ill be the only person to ever post.

Friday, October 13, 1972, A Fairchild FH-227 twin turboprop airplane crosses the Andes Mountains carrying 40 passengers and 5 crew. The plane would disappear from the modern world and everyone on board thought to be dead.
It would be 72 days untill the world discovered, there were 16 still alive.

There are'nt any rules, just please try to keep to the subject.
